Company Launches $10,000 Video Contest to Promote Fire Safety to Florida Students

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paul Davis Restoration, Inc., a leading provider of fire, water and mold damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties, along with the company's Florida offices, will be participating in National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) National Fire Prevention Week, October 3-9. Paul Davis is providing consumers with tips for the Fire Prevention Week theme, Smoke Alarms: A sound you can live with.

In addition, the Paul Davis offices in Florida are participating in Paul Davis Restoration, Inc.'s $10,000 "The Fire Safety Project" video contest to draw awareness to the importance of fire safety and to recognize the life-saving efforts of fire professionals throughout the state. The contest coincides with NFPA's campaign and invites Florida students currently enrolled in public or private educational institutions, K-12 and colleges and universities, to enter. This year's campaign theme strives to educate the public on how smoke alarms save lives and why they should be installed and maintained in every home. According to the NFPA, working smoke alarms can cut the chances of dying in a fire in half.
