Card Connection Franchisee Races Ahead!

October 14, 2010 // Franchising.com // Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection's franchisee for the Chelmsford/Colchester/Ipswich area has been racing ahead, following a track day at Silverstone with customer Culverhill Retail Spar. As part of UK Greetings, Card Connection sponsors one of the Porsche racing cars and franchisee Paul Davis was invited to attend a track day experience at the prestigious venue.

"Culverhill Retail has a keen interest in racing Porsches and we have our logo on one of the cars," confirms Andrew Cutler, sales director of Card Connection. "The day proved an excellent way to build relationships and have fun at the same time!

"Paul Davis, who added the Hertford area to his Chelmsford and Colchester territory eighteen months ago, is always focused on building great customer relationships," continues Cutler. "This strategy is paying off as he has seen some good results from his area despite the continuing economic challenges in the general marketplace. Fun at the track day will only serve to further enhance relationships with valued customers such as Culverhill Retail."

Card Connection has limited UK vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.
