Stroller Strides Hosts National Conference

Workshops, activities, and social media strategies highlight annual gathering

San Marcos, CA (Grassroots Newswire) – The recent Stroller Strides National Conference, held in San Diego from October 14-16, provided Stroller Strides program owners with both strategies and inspiration to help strengthen the program for moms nationwide.

"We want to give moms who are passionate about health and fitness a rewarding and enjoyable experience when they participate in our programs," said Lisa Druxman, founder of Stroller Strides. "This year's conference offered so much useful information that our franchisees can put to work right now to make their programs even better and more effective for moms and their babies."

The conference packed a full agenda of workshops, speakers and activities into two days, bringing attendees up-to-date on the newest developments in pre- and postnatal fitness. Hundreds of Stroller Stride franchisees and class instructors profited from workshops on successful business strategies, such as e-marketing and maximizing profit potential.

Between scheduled workshops, attendees also had the opportunity to visit the vendor marketplace featuring Stroller Strides National Conference marketing partners. Showcase companies included recently added national partners Sambazon, Episencial, ACE Fitness and Reebok. Also new to the vendor marketplace this year were Plum Organics, Moby Wrap, Born Free, gDiapers and Yes to Carrots.

The keynote speaker for this year's conference was Maria Bailey, and award-winning author, radio talk show host, speaker and recognized authority on marketing to moms. In addition to her keynote address, Ms. Bailey led a workshop on using the social media to connect with the emerging group of Gen X and Gen Y moms through new technologies such as blogs, podcasting and social networking.

"Maria Bailey's keynote address was a highlight of this year's conference, just as it was last year," said Druxman. "Her insights, combined with our powerful program of workshops and activities, united everyone who attended with a vision of a common goal.
