UNO(R) Salutes Military With Dough Raiser Supporting The Bob Woodruff Foundation

Also Makes Special Offer for Past and Present Military on Veteran's Day

BOSTON, Nov. 3, 2010 // PRNewswire // -- Uno Chicago Grill® would like to thank those men and women who have risked their lives in service to our country. This Veteran's Day, UNO® invites all members of the military, both veterans and active duty, to enjoy a free entree or individual pizza with the purchase of an entree or pizza of equal or greater value. No coupon is necessary. Veterans or active military can simply show up with a military or veteran's ID.

UNO will also host a national Dough Raiser from November 12 through the 25th for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which provides resources and support to service members, veterans and their families to successfully reintegrate into their communities so they may thrive physically, psychologically, socially and economically.

Guests can visit www.unos.com/veterans to download a voucher to present when they dine at any participating UNO, and UNO will donate twenty percent of their check to the Foundation.

"UNO has a strong record of supporting our members in the military, whether it's donating pizzas to local VA Hospitals or helping raise funds for organizations which support our men and women in uniform," noted UNO CEO Frank Guidara. "That's why we're delighted to take this special opportunity to personally thank and recognize our Veterans and those currently serving."

ABOUT THE BOB WOODRUFF FOUNDATION:

The Bob Woodruff Foundation provides resources and support to service members, veterans and their families to successfully reintegrate into their communities so they may thrive physically, psychologically, socially and economically. Through a public education movement called ReMIND.org, the Bob Woodruff Foundation helps educate the public about the needs of service members returning from war — especially the 1 in 5 service members who have sustained hidden injuries such as Traumatic Brain Injury and Combat Stress, including Post Traumatic Stress, Depression and Anxiety — and empowers communities nationwide to take action. Across the country, the Bob Woodruff Foundation collaborates with other organizations and experts to identify and solve issues related to the return of service members from combat to civilian life and invests in programs that connect our troops to the help they need — from individual needs like physical accommodations, medical care and counseling, to larger social issues like homelessness and suicide. To date, the Bob Woodruff Foundation has invested over $6 million, reaching more than 500,000 service members, support personnel, veterans and their families nationwide.
