Starwood Hotels & Resorts Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Cyber Monday Sale

Five-Day Sale Starts November 29 with Special Rates at More Than 60 Starwood Resorts; additional Offers on November 29, only Fans and Followers of SPG on Facebook and Twitter Can Receive Early Access to Discountson November 28 at 6pm EST

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Nov 18, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) is presenting travelers with three ways to save this holiday season. The first, Starwood's Cyber Monday Sale, kicks off Monday, November 29, and runs for five days only, offering special rates at more than 60 of the world's hottest resorts in premium destinations such as Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean. As an added incentive, on November 29 only, Starwood will offer additional extraordinary offers at some of Starwood's most desirable resorts. These offers must be booked by 11:59 pm EST, November 29, or while inventory lasts, and represent savings of up to 50% off, with some deals as low as $99 per night.

As Starwood's third holiday gift to travelers, guests who are fans of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty program on Facebook (Facebook.com/SPG), or who follow SPG on Twitter (@SPGInsider), will have insider access to the sale for six hours before the launch of Cyber Monday, beginning at 6pm EST on November 28. Guests who wish to receive early access to the promotion should simply visit Facebook.com/SPG and "like" SPG to gain access to the sale.

Resorts participating in Starwood's Cyber Monday sale include properties across six of Starwood's nine brands - Sheraton, Westin, W, St. Regis, Le Méridien, and The Luxury Collection. Seasonal steals include The Westin Cancun from $99, W Fort Lauderdale from $249 and the St. Regis Princeville at 33% off. Sample Monday only deals include TheWestin Diplomat ocean front rooms from $179, regularly $309; The Westin Maui ocean view rooms from $299, regularly $419; and 280 deluxe rooms at St. Regis Aspen from $399, regularly $749.
