Johnny Rockets' 11th Restaurant-at-Sea Sets Sail in December with New Cruise Ship Launch

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Nov. 23, 2010 // PRNewswire // -- The Home of the Original Hamburger announces the opening of its latest restaurant on board Royal Caribbean International's Allure of the Seas, now the world's largest – and most innovative – cruise ship. With 26 dining venues on the Allure of the Seas, Johnny Rockets brings its feel-good atmosphere and timeless All-American fare to the ship's onboard restaurant options.

Johnny Rockets' 11th Royal Caribbean location will open to the public, in December, with the official inauguration of the Allure of the Seas cruise ship. In celebration, a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Johnny Rockets CEO John Fuller and General Managers, Sabrina Cherigui and Sabit Mjaki, took place on Friday, Nov. 19 prior to the departure of Allure of the Seas' two-day pre-inaugural voyage hosting media, celebrities and other VIPs.

From authentic decor to the classic Americana ambiance and friendly service, guests will enjoy the same pleasures found at shore side Johnny Rockets locations. The restaurant, featured in the Boardwalk neighborhood of the ship, will be open to seafaring passengers seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Allure of the Seas offers seven-night itineraries that depart from its home port of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

"We have worked with Royal Caribbean International for nearly a decade and continue to value our ongoing franchising partnership with such an esteemed cruise ship company," said John Fuller, Johnny Rockets President and CEO. "Their cruise ships serve as exciting, modern venues that allow us to provide a classic family-friendly experience for travelers from around the world. While exploring new destinations, our dancing servers and homestyle hamburgers put an exclamation point on the enduring comfort of American food, fun and friendliness."

"As an innovative cruise ship, we seek to offer a dynamic assortment of restaurant selections for our passengers," says Corrine Lewis, Director of Food Operations, Royal Caribbean International. "We've continued to feature Johnny Rockets on our cruise ships because their restaurants offer guests the fun and familiarity of classic music and classic food, like Patty Melts, Chili Dogs and BLTs, all while complementing the eclectic offerings of our other 23 top-rated restaurants."
