Pizza Pizza's Slices for Smiles Fund Raises $175,000 for Children's Miracle Network

Pizza Pizza Limited will conclude 2010 having achieved its most successful year of fundraising by donating $175,000 to Children's Miracle Network. This is the third consecutive year that the Slices for Smiles Fund has supported Children's Miracle Network and the 14 children's hospitals it assists in Canada.

Pizza Pizza Limited, through its Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 banners, holds its Slices for Smiles fundraiser twice each year, during the third week of April and October respectively. This year, restaurants across the country participated by collecting donations and selling discounted pizzas. Athletes from local sports teams were also on hand in several communities to encourage the spirit of giving.
