Bojangles' 'Seasons' Mealtimes in Hampton with Opening of New Restaurant Adjacent to Langley AFB in Wythe Creek Shops

Ownership Group Dedicated to Supporting Hampton Community Organizations

December 13, 2010 // Franchising.com // HAMPTON, Va. – CB&T AUG, LLC is satisfying Hampton's residents' and area commuters' cravings for Bojangles' "Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits" with the grand opening of its newest location at 3351 Cmdr. Sheppard Blvd.

Situated at the intersection of Magruder Blvd., Wythe Creek Road and Commander Shepard Blvd. in the Wythe Creek Shops, the restaurant caters to Bojangles' fans at one of Hampton's most heavily trafficked areas. The new Bojangles' features drive-thru and in-store dining beginning with breakfast and continuing through dinner late into the evening. Spanning more than 3,800 square feet and seating up to 70 guests, the new location carries on the Bojangles' warm, friendly tradition in an upscale casual dining environment.

"We know the Langley community is passionate about Bojangles' and we're thrilled to open a new, convenient location right in their neighborhood," said Bill Grigg, who co-owns the restaurant with three partners. "In addition to serving Bojangles' distinctive array of chicken dishes, fresh buttermilk biscuits and fixin's, our service standards will win over our guests from the moment they walk in the restaurant or visit our drive-thru."

Decorative elements such as the location's exterior and interior design work distinguish the Hampton location from other Bojangles', reflecting the local shopping district's attractive consumer appeal. Featuring local photography from the Langley Speedway, Air Force Base and High Schools, the unique design enhancements showcase Bojangles' shift towards fast casual dining, blending quick-service with a casual dining atmosphere. Plus, at the drive-thru, Bojangles' is setting the industry standard, turning orders routinely in less than a minute.

Additionally, the restaurant is engraining itself into the fabric of the Langley neighborhood through local hiring, as well as ongoing philanthropy and school partnerships.

"We take our responsibility to the community seriously," said Jimmy Lea, co-owner and operating partner at the Langley Bojangles'. "Our connection to our guests goes beyond great food and service. We want to make an impact that will leave a lasting impression on schools and other meaningful organizations. We hope to create a bond that will certainly grow stronger as they experience the food, fun and service in our modern, spacious restaurant."

Grigg, Lea and their partners are proven successes in the business world, having owned and operated companies in the restaurant industry and in other fields. The Langley Bojangles' is CB&T AUG, LLC's first, and the brand's third in Hampton. The company plans to open four more locations in the Peninsula area of the Tidewater region during the next four years.

Bojangles' attracts customers with its proprietary, made-from-scratch fare offering a flavor profile unlike anything in the market. Meal options are available all day, including breakfast at all hours.

Hours of operation in Hampton are from 5:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the dining area and 5:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. in the drive-thru every day.
