ActionCOACH Awarded Ava Gold

ActionCOACH's documentary-style video garners top honors at 2010 Ava Awards.

December 14, 2010 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas – ActionCOACH, the world's leading business and executive coaching firm, won Gold honors in the Ava Awards, sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) for its documentary short, "The Business of Coaching."

The documentary won Gold for the short film's overview of what business coaching is and how business coaching shows owners how to run a better business while getting better results in terms of time, team and money.

The documentary was produced internally by the in-house marketing team at ActionCOACH.

The team is based out of the ActionCOACH global headquarters located in Las Vegas, and shot the documentary on three continents with the cooperation of dozens of ActionCOACH Business Coaches and their clients. The in-house team also wrote, shot, directed and edited all aspects of the production.

The Ava Awards recognize excellence by creative professionals in the category of audio-visual materials and programs. This year, more than 1,700 entries were judged from the U.S. and a number of international locations.

Approximately 12% were deemed Gold Winners.

The Ava Award is the latest in a series of awards for the ActionCOACH Global Marketing team, which also garnered Hermes Platinum Awards for its Coaching for a Cause pro-bono campaign launched last year, that raised $3.4 million in funds and donations within a six-month period.

"We've got a great team of professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds that work well together and produce outstanding work," ActionCOACH Marketing Team Leader Jarrod Oram said.
