Five Star Painting Franchise Makes Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500 List

Five Star only painting franchise to gain ground in Entrepreneur's national survey

SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Dec. 16, 2010 // PRNewswire // -- After six years of explosive growth, Five Star Painting made Entrepreneur magazine's "Franchise 500" list, an annual ranking for top-producing national franchises.

Entrepreneur magazine has been ranking the top 500 franchise companies for 31 years and examines important criteria such as financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system to determine rankings. In the U.S., there are over 3,500 franchise companies in competition for placement on the annual list is fierce.

"Entrepreneur's annual list is a huge deal in the franchising industry and we are thrilled to be part of it," said Chad Jones, Five Star's VP of Franchise Development. "The recognition validates what we've been building at Five Star Painting -- a home services franchise system with great support for franchise owners and top quality and service for customers."

Five Star Painting has garnered national attention for its trend-busting growth. The Franchise Business Review ranked it in the top 50 franchise systems for franchisee satisfaction in 2010. It is continually recognized as one of the fastest growing painting franchises and one of the 'best bets' for low investment franchises.

In addition to its franchise rankings, customers continually rate Five Star as the highest quality painting company nationwide.

"We set out to improve the image perception of painters by giving people high quality painting backed with real guarantees and using the best paint on the market while still keeping the cost low," said Conrad Kolba, COO for Five Star. "It's paid off. Our franchisees are thriving and despite the sluggish economy, we are growing."

Amy Cosper, VP and editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur called the 2011 Franchise 500 "a must-see list for anyone searching for the right business."

Five Star has grown to 75 franchises with operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Five Star offers its franchisees access to software, a 24/7 call center, Internet lead generation, marketing, training and management support.

"This is a great way to wrap up 2010 and start 2011," said Jones. "Five Star Painting is a franchise with solid fundamentals and a growing base of potential franchisees at a time when the demand for painting services is going to explode."
