Flippers Pizzeria Announces New Franchise Opening In Winter Springs And New Corporate Location At UCF.

January 18, 2011 // Franchising.com // Orlando, Florida - Today, Flippers Pizzeria released new details on upcoming locations in Winter Springs and University Commons near the University of Central Florida.

According to executives at Flippers Pizzeria, the new restaurant in Winter Springs, Florida on Red Bug Lake Road is now open. "This is our first franchised location in Central Florida," said Ian Schneider, Vice President of Flippers Pizzeria Franchising, LLC. "We are very excited to be making company history today."

In September of 2010, Flippers Pizzeria executives and David Lo of Delocie LLC signed the company's first multi-unit franchise deal. The new Red Bug location in Winter Springs is part of this partnership.

Don Howard, President of Flippers Pizzeria says that this first franchise location is the beginning for what he predicts a busy 2011 for Flippers Pizzeria: "We're getting a high amount of interest from investors around Florida and other parts of the country—It's very exciting," said Howard. "We're proud to welcome David Lo and his team to the Flippers Pizzeria family, and we look forward to developing a very successful partnership."

The Red Bug restaurant is one of two locations scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2011. Founders of Flippers Pizzeria, Todd Dennis and Scott Kousaie, say that a new corporate location will soon be opening at University Commons near the University of Central Florida at Alafaya Trail and Corporate Boulevard.

"This new location will fill a void in the highly populated education corridor of Orlando," said Dennis. "We've been considering an opening in that area for a while now, and we've found the perfect location at University Commons."

Dennis and his team are looking forward to a busy year with new openings and new franchise partners: "It's taken months of planning to do this right, but we're finally seeing some tremendous growth and interest in the Flippers Pizzeria brand."
