Sanjay Chaturvedi Opens India's Joint Venture ActionCOACH Office
ActionCOACH has announced a new joint venture in India that will expand the franchise into one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
January 31, 2011 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS - By creating a new joint venture agreement with Sanjay Chaturvedi, the former Vice President of Sales at Birlasoft, ActionCOACH has continued an aggressive worldwide expansion campaign that also saw its first office open in China earlier in the year.
Chaturvedi, who has extensive experience in IT and sales, saw the joint venture as a way to become an entrepreneur while leveraging the support and infrastructure of a leading global brand to help him grow and expand the business on the Indian subcontinent.
"While this opportunity 'came out of the blue,' I am very excited about the potential for ActionCOACH in India, and look forward to working with the ActionCOACH team in building a strong organization to help small and medium businesses in every sector of our rapidly expanding economy."
Part of the so-called "BRIC" countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) in the growth stages of advancing economic development, India is forecasted to experience a four-fold increase in per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) over the next forty years – a significant measure of a country's rate of economic growth.
With more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries, and as the leading business coaching company in the world, ActionCOACH is perfectly positioned to be the "go-to" business resource for India's entrepreneurs on "how to" run better, more efficient and more profitable businesses.
"The company's system and methods are proven and are guaranteed to work," Chaturvedi said. "We are offering a great way to show business owners the right way to run their companies to take advantage of the growth that is here and that will come."
With a focus on small-and-medium sized companies, the ActionCOACH system is the kind of "fit" Chaturvedi was looking for in terms of his own goals and the current Indian marketplace.
"I liked ActionCOACH because their goal is to help small businesses," Chaturvedi said. "I initially was interested in being a Business Coach, but the more I talked with the people (at ActionCOACH), I got more and more excited, and it just progressed to a Joint Venture discussion."
Chaturvedi has big plans for India's first ever ActionCOACH office. He is already formulating plans to recruit new Master Licensees and Business Coaches, and is working on campaigns to get the attention of new clients.
"I want executives like myself with 15-20 years of work experience to come in and be coaches," he said. "Hopefully my past corporate experience will come in handy, and people similar to me will relate to my story. I worked for a $150 million software company, but wanted to work for myself to fulfil my own goals and aspirations."
In addition to Executives similar to himself, Chaturvedi also hopes to appeal to India's small businesses.
"Small businesses in India are projected to play a substantial role in India's GDP growth that is forecasted to grow at between 9 to 10 percent – a Central Govt. Ministry for Small Industry has been created to address this need," he said. "There's huge potential here for these customers to adopt world class business processes to ensure their growth."
And he's already received positive feedback.
"Within my personal network, I bounced this idea of Business Coaching with guaranteed results in the areas of revenues, profits and increased number of clients off of several people, and I needed to push them back," Chaturvedi said. "I've received a very positive response. People wanted to hire me right away to coach their business! So now, I must get started bringing in and training the coaches in the ActionCOACH system."
With the new joint venture, both Chaturvedi and ActionCOACH are looking forward to a bright future.
"I've always wanted to have and manage something of my own," he said. "The sky's the limit."
ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 32 countries.
