Caring Senior Service Installs Free In-Home Safety Monitoring Systems For Needy Seniors

February 15, 2011 // Franchising.com // Seniors will now have the safety products they need to live healthy, happy and at home, thanks to contributions from a fundraising program lead by national home care provider, Caring Senior Service.

The free in-home safety monitoring system initiative is part of the company's nationwide Never Left Alone program. Through the program's campaign, Caring Senior Service raised $2,978 from various fundraising initiatives. Nominations for the units were collected during the campaign and recipients have been selected and awarded. The unit installation began in January and will continue throughout the month of February.

The Never Left Alone program is designed to raise funds to supply EMT personal emergency response systems into the homes of seniors who cannot afford them. An EMT system provides security for the homebound elderly by enabling them to easily signal for help in the event of an emergency.

Details of the program are continually being streamlined, including the process for non-profit status, allowing the benefit of tax exemption for future donations and upcoming grant opportunities to further the program in the coming years.

For more information on donating or nominating a recipient to receive a EMT system, call your local Caring Senior Service or visit online at caringseniorservice.com.
