Livingston, NJ will be Home to World's Best Margaritas
Margaritas Mexican Restaurant to Open First New Jersey Location
Livingston, NJ – Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, a popular restaurant and lounge with a loyal following throughout New England for the past 25 years, will open their first New Jersey location in May 2011.
The restaurant, located at 372 West Mt. Pleasant Ave in Livingston, NJ, will offer a unique twist on south of the border cuisine and the world's tastiest margaritas. The bright, colorful atmosphere of Margaritas is steeped in the culture and filled with the art of Mexico.
The new Livingston restaurant is Margaritas Mexican Restaurants' first franchised location, operated locally by Circle 10 Restaurant Group; Robert Kurtz, Neal Erman, Nick DeSarno and Jay Law.
"The energy at Margaritas is unlike any restaurant in all of New Jersey," said John Pelletier, founder of the popular Mexican restaurant concept. Erman and Kurtz live locally and after searching for a viable concept in the former Houlihan's location, Margaritas was a natural fit. "There is a sense of excitement built into the Margaritas culture, and that's why we're confident the restaurant will become an immediate favorite in the community."
Offering made-from-scratch Mexican-inspired cuisine, Margaritas restaurants are galleries of hand-crafted Mexican artwork. To keep each restaurant fresh and visually striking, John Pelletier travels regularly to artist communities and manufacturing towns in Mexico to purchase unique crafts, handmade tiles, pottery and carved furniture.
Contributing to the restaurants' appeal are the delicious made-to-order Margaritas created a variety of flavors including strawberry, sour apple, mango, pomegranate, mad melon, raspberry, as well as their award-winning "Original Margarita."
In addition to providing unique food, drinks and atmosphere, Margaritas further gains loyal fans through their commitment to the communities they serve. Every month for more than 19 years, Margaritas has hosted Full Moon Margarita Madness, an evening of fun, games and giveaways with each restaurant donating five percent of the evening's gross lounge sales to a local charity.
Margaritas is looking forward to delivering a great time to New Jersey diners where they can experience the flavors and culture of Mexico without getting on a plane.
"We want our guests to celebrate their special milestones with us, their birthdays and anniversaries, and to join us for our own events like Cinco de Mayo and Full Moon Margarita Madness," said Pelletier. "We want to be the place folks celebrate their happiest occasions."
