Holiday Inn Express Tampa North - Telecom Park Opens with Fresh, New Look After Conversion

Tampa-Based Development Company Opens Holiday Inn Express Near One of Tampa's Largest Corporate Campuses

March 30, 2011 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Tampa North - Telecom Park following a conversion from a La Quinta Inn & Suites that included guest room and furniture upgrades as well as decorative enhancements.

Conveniently located just off Interstate 75 in Tampa's Telecom Park, the 92-room Holiday Inn Express offers an array of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool and spa, 24-hour business center and free wireless Internet connections. The hotel also has 700 square feet of meeting space, which can accommodate up to 70 people.

The new four-story Holiday Inn Express Tampa North - Telecom Park is located at 13294 Telecom Drive in Telecom Park, just minutes from the University of South Florida and Busch Gardens. The hotel is also close to several major medical facilities including the Moffitt Cancer Center, the James A. Harley Veteran's Administration Medical Center, University Community Hospital and University of South Florida Hospital. The Verizon Business Park and the Hidden River Business Park are just a short distance away.

For leisure travelers, the Holiday Inn Express Tampa North - Telecom Park is just a short drive from MOSI (the Museum of Science and Industry) and the Adventure Island water park.
