Peters is the newest ActionCOACH in Prince William County, Virginia

Manassas, VA, April 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Gerry Peters has been coaching and mentoring people for more than 30 years. Along the way he discovered his entrepreneurial spirit to help business owners while building his own business and the best way to take advantage of both his skills and passion was to become an ActionCOACH.

Peters' path to becoming an ActionCOACH is unique. He spent 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Aviation Supply Officer, before spending the last six years as a Senior Program Manager for two custom software development companies. His experiences leading people and leading organizational change will certainly help Peters with advising businesses.

When he's not coaching businesses, Peters is a member of the Software Engineering Institute, Army Navy Club, Naval Academy Alumni and Naval Postgraduate School Alumni Associations, two Parent Teacher Associations and Booster Club, Knights of Columbus, Men at Malvern Retreat House, All Saints Parrish and a charter member of the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce where he now serves on several committees. He is also actively involved in coaching two soccer teams and serving on the Board of Directors for the Ben Lomond Swim Team and Northern Virginia Soccer Club.

Peters is a franchise owner with his office located in Manassas, Virginia, where he will help businesses located throughout Prince William County. His Master Licensee is Sheri Winesett.

Peters began his journey as an ActionCOACH in Las Vegas, Nevada where the ActionCOACH Global Office is located. Here he spent 10 days training with other new business coaches and franchise owners from around the world. They learned the ins and outs of ActionCOACH, how to run a business the ActionCOACH way, branding, systems and techniques, as well as how to apply their knowledge to any business and much more.
