Doc Popcorn Commands High-Quality New Franchisees in Q1 2011

More than 30 Franchise Agreements Awarded; Outlook on Q2 Equally as Optimistic for Rapidly Expanding Franchise

During the first quarter of 2011, the brand awarded nine franchise agreements representing 60 new units. Both marks are records for the brand for one quarter.

Five of the nine franchise agreements finalized in the first quarter are Doc Popcorn Empire Agreements, which provide franchisees the opportunity to open 10 units. The Empire Agreement deals will result in new units opening throughout New Jersey, Maryland, Alaska, Missouri and Rhode Island. Additionally, the brand recently signed its first Area Developer agreement for new units in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
