Saladworks Debuts Combo Meals, Offers Free Salads for a Year

Franchise Promotes New Offering with Radio Campaign and Online Contest

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Saladworks, the nation's first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, proudly announces the debut of a new menu addition: "Pick 2 Combo Meals" – now available in all franchise locations. Fans can create their own combo with half signature salad, soup, or a half fusion sandwich.

"We hope the addition of combos to the Saladworks menu will encourage both fans and new customers' trial of all of our signature salads, freshly chopped ingredients, varieties of hot soups, and flavorful fusion sandwiches" . In celebration of Saladworks' commitment to choice, variety, and their fans – the franchise will be holding a contest for the ultimate prize of free salads for a year. During the week of May 8th-15th, entries to win will be accepted at www.saladworks.com/combo or via mail. One winner will be selected and announced on May 16th. Saladworks has received a number of requests for combo options, and wanted to give their fans this added layer of convenience and choice.The franchise tested combos in multiple locations, all seeing an increase in average transaction counts – which continued to increase after marketing the combo meal outside of the test locations.

To support the rollout of combo meals system-wide, Saladworks has ramped up its radio advertising campaign to draw customers. Starting this month, Saladworks will promote the combo deal with live radio reads during AM and PM drive times. The salad franchise also supports combos with the debut of its first internet radio campaign with Pandora, which will potentially reach over 700,000 web and mobile users before and during the lunch hours.
