Boardwalk Fresh Burgers And Fries Announces Expansion Plans In North Carolina

May 13, 2011 // Franchising.com // Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries has just signed a development agreement with Koti Aluri for North Carolina. Mr. Aluri, of Boardwalk Fairfax, LLC, is currently on board with Boardwalk as a multi-unit franchisee for Fairfax County, Virginia, with five stores slated to open. Now, Mr. Aluri, and Boardwalk Fresh Burgers, LLC, are ready to undertake an additional area with the development of North Carolina as a Master Franchisee with a commitment to open twenty or more stores in that state. He expects to have his first location in operation by the end of this year.

When asked of Koti why he took on another territory, he said that, as a multi-unit franchisee in Virginia, he had more personal insights into what was transpiring with the growth of the concept. "I believe Boardwalk has all pieces in place now to grow and become a strong national brand and I want to be a part of that great success story." Mr. Aluri further stated that by becoming a Master Franchisee he can contribute better to that expansion.

Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries has been expanding rapidly in the United States the past several months, with development areas now sold in North Carolina, Delaware, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Virginia and the District of Columbia with additional franchises recently sold in Michigan and Alabama.
