G.I. Jobs Announces Most Military Friendly Franchises, Pillar To Post Proud to be Among Them

May 26, 2011 // Franchising.com // (Tampa, FL)-- The home inspection business is the key for military veterans seeking successful franchise opportunities, according to G.I. Jobs Magazine's newest 2011 Military Friendly Franchises® list. Pillar to Post, North America's leading home inspection company, was just named to this elite list, which honors the top seven percent of franchises doing the most to recruit America's veterans as franchisees.

The list, created out of demand from military veterans, who wanted to their own business but were unclear where to begin, helps veterans choose franchisors based on the best financial incentives and training, and the highest number of veteran franchisees. Over 4,000 franchises were polled nationwide in a comprehensive survey to cull the best franchisors, according to G.I. Jobs. The full list of Military Friendly Franchises® will be published in the June issue of G.I. Jobs Magazine, and on http://www.MilitaryFranchising.com.

Dan Steward, president and CEO of Pillar To Post, said, "We have been actively courting veterans for years, as their honest, diligent and disciplined work ethic meshes perfectly with our philosophy."

With recently published Census Bureau figures showing over 2.4 million veteran-owned businesses, transitional opportunities are boundless for Pillar To Post veterans, because of an extremely affordable investment cost, quick start-up, low overhead and flexible hours, Steward said.

With more than 400 locations in 44 states and nine Canadian provinces, and expectations to exceed more than 500 locations by the end of 2013, the company is an approved and preferred supplier to many of the leading real estate companies in North America including RE/MAX, Keller Williams, Century 21, Long & Foster, Royal LePage and others.
