Elgin, IL, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The brokers and agents at RE/MAX Sauk Valley in Sterling, Ill., had good reason to celebrate at the recent 34th annual awards ceremony held by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network. The office and its agents took home some of the night's biggest honors for 2010 sales achievement.
RE/MAX Sauk Valley captured awards for being the RE/MAX Northern Illinois office in a small market to close the largest number of transactions and generate the greatest sales volume during 2010.
The office's sales associates closed 542 transactions in 2010. That's an impressive jump of 20 percent from their 2009 total. The office also finished the year by recording a closed sales volume of more than $65 million, 7.5 percent higher than the top small-market office in the network last year.
In addition, two sales teams at RE/MAX Sauk Valley received special recognition. The team led by John Rosengren, one of the three broker/owners of RE/MAX Sauk Valley, was recognized for being the network's No. 1 commercial property sales team during 2010. The team led by James Cesarek, also a co-broker/owner, was honored as the small market sales team to close the most transactions in the network during 2010. Cesarek and his team closed 139 transactions, a 33 percent increase over the number they completed in 2009.
