RE/MAX Suburban Honored as Top Multi-Office Brokerage in Northern Illinois Network

Elgin, IL, June 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- RE/MAX Suburban, a multi-office brokerage, captured the top award for sales production during the recent 34th annual RE/MAX Northern Illinois awards ceremony. The office earned honors for notching the highest number of transactions and the greatest sales volume of all multi-office brokerages in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois region.

The agents at RE/MAX Suburban closed 2,381 transactions accounting for more than $603 million in closed sales volume in 2010 and they accomplished that in the midst of an exceptionally challenging residential real estate market.

Jim Nelson, Jr., one of the broker/owners of RE/MAX Suburban, accepted the award on behalf of the brokerage's other owners, Jim Nelson, Sr. and Bob Baker, who founded the firm in 1978 with a single office in Arlington Heights.

This kind of success isn't unusual for RE/MAX Suburban. It now operates seven offices in six suburban communities, Arlington Heights, Glen Ellyn, Libertyville, Mt.
