Weichert Annual Golf Outing Continues Mission to Defeat Breast Cancer

June 21, 2011 // Franchising.com // Weichert, Realtors will host its 11th Annual Charity Golf Outing on Thursday, August 18, at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J., to raise funds for the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.

"Our mission to defeat breast cancer remains as strong as it did when we hosted our first golf outing 11 years ago," said Jacelyn Botti, head of residential sales for Weichert, Realtors. "Recent advancements in treatments and education have proven helpful, but the fact remains there's still a lot more we can do to put an end to this disease that impacts so many families in this country."

Individuals and businesses are invited to participate in the fundraiser. Golf-oriented contests for both men and women will consist of the longest drive, shooting closest to the pin and closest to the line. Many fabulous prizes will be raffled, including the grand prize of an LCD television. A donation of $349 provides individuals a round of golf with cart, lunch, photo and post-tournament three-hour buffet cocktail reception. For a donation of $175, an individual may attend the buffet cocktail reception and awards banquet.

A range of six sponsorship levels ensures an affordable sponsorship option for businesses – both large and small. Contributions of gifts and prizes are also welcome from businesses as donations. Participants in the 11th Annual Charity Golf Outing who are traveling from out of town, have the option to stay at the Bridgewater Marriott on August 17 and/or August 18 for a discounted group rate of $159 per night (original room rate of $269).
