Cafe2U Franchisees take Merit from 2011 FCA Awards

June 28, 2011 // Franchising.com // Andrew and Mandy Lynch, who own and operate a Cafe2U franchise in the Perth region of Kenwick and Maddington, received a Merit Award for their outstanding efforts throughout the year at the Franchising Council of Australia (FCA) Awards, held in Fremantle over last weekend.

Organized by the FCA, the Excellence in Franchising Awards recognise and reward excellence and provide a platform for companies and individuals to showcase the work they are doing within the franchising sector. This particular awards ceremony celebrated the WA state winners.

This is not the first time that Andrew and Mandy have received recognition for their efforts. In January this year the duo was crowned with the honour of Cafe2U's 2010 Franchisee of the Year. These duel acknowledgments come at no surprise to Cafe2U Managing Director Derek Black.

"Andrew and Mandy really understand the power of the Cafe2U brand and leverage it at all opportunities, while importantly still being able to be perceived as local business owners and gain customer loyalty. They are always willing to learn and take on board new ideas from the franchisor, and at every opportunity give back to Cafe2U with their experiences, ideas, news and updates," said Derek Black.

Attended by various franchises from all over Australia, the FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards gala dinner was held at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle on Friday 17th June 2011.
