Chicago, IL, June 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Fourteen 14 RE/MAX brokerages in the metropolitan Chicago real estate market were among the RE/MAX franchises and agents who dominated nearly all categories in the RISMedia 23rd annual Power Broker Report, a national ranking of residential real estate organizations.
The report identifies the nation's 1,000 most productive real estate firms based on transactions completed and closed sales volume in 2010. RE/MAX led with 390 brokerages on the list, including 14 that serve the Chicago area, along with six others in Illinois. That was more than any other real estate organization. The closest competitor had 244 brokerages named.
RE/MAX agents affiliated with offices in the Power Broker 1,000 led the competition in closed transactions, averaging 14.7 per agent and outselling many of their competitors by more than two to one. RE/MAX agents also led in closed sales volume by averaging $2.9 million per agent, 62 percent more than the average of all other agents in the report.
When ranked by transactions per agent, RE/MAX brokerages listed in the Power Broker Report claimed 40 of the top 50 spots, and they earned 38 of the top 50 spots based on closed sales volume per agent.
The RE/MAX brokerages in Power Broker 1,000 led all competitors in total transactions closed (439,249) and closed sales volume ($87.7 million)
