Multi-Brand Franchisor's Strategic Growth Plan Progresses

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The move is a key component of FSBI's strategic growth plan. According to Terry Powell, founder and CEO of FSBI, the addition of DIGIKIDS to the FSBI portfolio immerses the company in a sector where it is not currently represented. "Acquiring DIGIKIDS supports FSBI's vision to remain atop the franchise industry as an innovator and trendsetter," said Powell, who has more than 25 years of experience in the franchise industry. Founded in 2003, DIGIKIDS currently has 12 units operating in eight states. With the acquisition, FSBI has moved DIGIKIDS to its company headquarters in Southbury, Conn. from Fort Worth, Texas.
