July 26, 2011 // Franchising.com // BookKeeping Express, the only U.S. franchise focused solely on offering certified bookkeeping services, has announced a strategic partnership with the Universal Accounting Center, an international accounting training company.
In an effort to strengthen its existing franchisee training program and position the company for rapid growth, BookKeeping Express is enhancing its business model with its upgraded training program.
Together with Universal Accounting Center's renowned educational programs, BookKeeping Express' enhanced training will focus on building a better bookkeeping business, marketing, business development, and providing a master coaching program to guide franchisees through the development of their business.
"With our additional training services and partnership with the Universal Accounting Center, BookKeeping Express plans to help small businesses grow even more efficiently," said Greg Jones, Chief Executive Officer of BookKeeping Express. "In return, we hope to continue on the fast track of franchise growth by offering proficient bookkeeping services across the country."
BookKeeping Express offices can be found in 22 states, headed by more than 30 franchisees in the United States and Canada. By teaming up with the Universal Accounting Center, the company looks to expand further throughout North America as they have already consistently grown 81 percent in franchise locations year to year.
In addition to the enhanced training, BookKeeping Express will continue to emphasize its commitment to franchisee support with the Franchise Development Program. Each franchisee is assigned an individual coach to provide them with a step-by-step process to ensure business success.
Focusing its services on the nation's 29 million-plus small businesses, BookKeeping Express offers accounting services such as setting up charts of accounts and general ledgers, monthly data entry, processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, producing monthly reports and tax reporting. Plus, BookKeeping Express utilizes a Custom Flex Pricing Model that is based on the clients' needs instead of a one-size-fits-all, hourly billing approach.
BookKeeping Express, a national company focused on providing professional bookkeeping practices to small businesses, was founded in 1984 in California and grew to over 150 locations through licensing agreements. In 2007, Greg Jones, along with Bob Stocker and Merritt Green, purchased the company and launched the new business model in January 2008. The company is based in Vienna, Virginia.
