Nora Tobin grew up in the High Sierras on Lake Tahoe where she spent her childhood outdoors- hiking, snowboarding, skiing, wakeboarding, rock climbing, and white water rafting.
She moved to Del Mar, CA and became an ocean lifeguard, certified in advanced scuba, cliff, river and helicopter rescue.
Nora traveled the world before moving to Santa Barbara. She has competed on the AVP, CBVA, Corona Wide Open and GAV beach volleyball tours. Nora is the owner of a fitness business, which offers a unique program that incorporates yoga, stand up paddle, beach boot camps, hiking, sports specific training, as well as nutrition information and meal plans for ages ranging from 5-70. She is writing a fitness book currently slated for publication in 2012. The book will serve as a manual for a knockout body, peaceful mind and better planet.
Nora is a volunteer committee member for the Breast Cancer Resource Center events, as well as a volunteer instructor for Del Mar ocean lifeguards in scuba, cliff, and river rescue.
