Value Place Springfield Announces New Management, New Savings

August 24, 2011 // // (Wichita, Kan.) – Value Place, the largest economy extended stay lodging franchise in the U.S., prides itself on extending the best value to its guests. This month Value Place Springfield expands upon this value and announces new management under M&M Properties Management, Inc., property renovations, and a special discount to those helping with the current tornado relief projects in the region.

Value Place takes pride in becoming an active part of the community in which its properties operate, and the team at Value Place Springfield has immediately identified a way to get involved -- through helping disaster relief efforts of the May 22 Joplin tornado. "Though most of the storm's aftermath is in the Joplin area, our property in Springfield has noticed a large number of guests overflowing from Joplin into Springfield who need lodging while they help with the cleanup projects," says M&M Properties Management Senior Vice President of Operations Jenny Meyer.

To best contribute to the community, Value Place Springfield now offers $40 off a first week's stay for those guests helping out with tornado relief. Value Place and M&M Properties Management is proud to announce this special rate making Value Place Springfield one of the best values for an extended stay in the Ozarks.

Value Place Springfield is placing its best foot forward by unveiling recent renovation projects that took place so that the property can proudly welcome an increased number of guests that its new discount is likely to attract. The building exterior now features fresh paint and new parking lot striping. On the inside of the building, guests will notice new lighting for safety in all corridors, fresh hallway paint, all new appliances in the guest laundry room, and new beds.

"M&M is proud to add Value Place Springfield to our hotel portfolio," says M&M Properties Management Senior Vice President of Operations Jenny Meyer. "These renovations to the property will allow us to maintain and exceed our guest expectations of being the cleaner, safer, affordable provider of lodging in Springfield. Our weekly rates start at $189.99, with a four week rate available for guests looking to stay longer. We not only welcome the much appreciated disaster relief volunteer - but also traveling workers and vacationers - to check out our refreshed accommodations today."
