Volvo Rents Announces Central Region Management Team

August 25, 2011 // Franchising.com // Asheville, NC - To support its rapid growth, Volvo Rents, a worldwide provider of small-to-medium sized construction equipment, announces the opening of a Central Region Office and appointment of a new management team.

Bruce Slaughter, a 27-year veteran of the rental industry who joined Volvo Rents in 2006 as a District Manager, will serve as Central Region Vice President and oversee the central United States.

"This is a pivotal time in the market, with great opportunities for Volvo Rents' further growth," said Slaughter. "The new management team adds further depth and breadth of experience as we intensify our push to capitalize on the economic upturn and expand upon our already strong network of company- and franchise-owned stores."

Located at 2201 Timberloch Place in The Woodlands, TX, the new office's management team will consist of:

  • Regional Executive Administrator: Becky Medina
  • Division Managers: Jason Bullock (Louisiana, Central Arkansas, Mississippi), Kelly Ryan (Texas), David Evans (Missouri, Oklahoma, Northern Arkansas)
  • Region Service Manager: Troy Dodd
  • Region Controller: Rich Gomes
  • Region Accounting Manager: Kathy Schultz
