Paul Davis Restoration donates "Wii" video game console to fundraising event for Shriners Hospitals for Children - Chicago on Sept. 11

August 29, 2011 // Franchising.com // Aurora, Ill. - Jack O'Connell, owner of Paul Davis Restoration of Kane, Kendall, and West Cook Counties has announced that his company will support The Scott J. Baran Agency of American Family Insurance 2nd Annual Shriners fundraiser to be held at Douglas Street Sports Bar and Grill, 231 Douglas Street in downtown Elgin, Ill. On Sunday, September 11 from 11:30 am until 4:00 pm, the event will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for ChildrenR - Chicago

Jack O'Connell, Paul Davis office owner will donate a "Wii" video game console to be auctioned off at the event.

Shriners Hospitals for ChildrenR - Chicago, is a 60-bed pediatric orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and cleft lip and palate hospital. The family-centered approach to care is designed to support the whole family during the acute and reconstructive phases of a child's injury. Located at 2211 Oak Park Ave. in Chicago, the hospital treats children from all over the country and around the world, and has unique relationships with some of the top hospitals and universities in the world.

In addition, the fundraiser will feature numerous gifts to be auctioned and raffled such as a 50/50 raffle and gift cards. Also, as part of the auction and raffle activities, the Chicago Cubs donated an autographed bat from Tyler Colvin, a baseball signed by Matt Garza, and a baseball cap signed by Fergie Jenkins. With the Chicago Bears home opener on Sept. 11, the game will be on TV during the event and former Bears NFL players are scheduled to be in attendance.

Additionally, attendees can win a voucher for a party up to 25 people at Douglas Street Sports Bar and Grill along with other prizes. The event is a family-friendly fundraiser and is free and open to the public.
