Quiznos Partners with Established Local Hospitality Group to Open Locations in Northern and Western India's Commercial and Entertainment Centers
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Quiznos, pioneer of the toasted sandwich and one of the nation's premier quick service restaurant (QSR) chains, today announced a new master franchise agreement to bring Quiznos to Northern and Western India. Part of the company's international development initiative, the agreement with New Delhi-based Sub One Hospitality Services complements Quiznos' recently-announced foray into Southern India, where the company last week opened its largest international location.
Quiznos' expansion in India will cover the country's commercial center of New Delhi and the entertainment hub of Bollywood, introducing Quiznos' chef-inspired tastes to a rapidly emerging demographic of vibrant and highly-educated young professionals.

The foodservice sector in India is currently undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by shifting national demographics and an expanding economic base. In Northern and Western India, a young and culturally diverse population is emerging with improved standards of education, jobs in the information technology, mobile, services and manufacturing sectors, and an affinity for international brands. Driven by these factors, Sub One Hospitality Services and Quiznos identified a variety of restaurant locations in corporate hubs and shopping malls, as well as near leading schools and colleges.

Menus in Northern and Western India will feature items unique to that market, reflecting the rich mix of cultures found there. The locations in India will also offer coffee and yogurt to round out the menu and provide a complete dining experience typical of local customer preferences.
Last week, Quiznos celebrated the grand opening of its first location in Southern India, in partnership with Southern India master franchise holder Arjun Valluri.
