In addition to being recognized as a donor, representatives from these companies showcased examples of their in-kind donations and involvement with the Charity to attendees. As part of the national program, Aire Serv franchises provide heating and air conditioning work for Ronald McDonald Houses across North America.
Aire Serv is also running the "Helping Homes – Yours and Theirs" sweepstakes. The winner receives a heating and air conditioning system valued up to $5,000. Additionally, for every 10,000 entries received, Aire Serv will donate $1,000 to the winner's local RMHC chapter, up to $10,000.
″It was exciting to see the wonderful work RMHC does around the world and to know we are a part of it," said Mike Bidwell, president and COO of The Dwyer Group, Inc. "A key message takeaway was the emphasis on providing the biggest currency of all when a child is sick – time. We are proud to be partnered with such a strong and meaningful organization."
RMHC was established in memory of McDonald's® founder and franchise icon Ray Kroc in 1984. Their cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House®, provides a "home-away-from-home" so families can stay close by while their child gets the health care they need.
"We are pleased to recognized The Dwyer Group's generosity and involvement with RMHC and the Ronald McDonald House program. With their support, we are able to provide stability and vital resources to families so they can focus on what maters most - the critical needs of their children," said Marty Coyne, president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
