Children of America Announces College Scholarship Program

October 03, 2011 // Franchising.com // Children of America now offers a $1,000 Scholarship Program designed to help parents start the process of planning for their child's college education. Once enrolled, COA will begin the scholarship program in the child's name.

″In today's challenging economic times, we know how daunting an investment in post-secondary school can be,″ said Thad Pryor, Children of America President and CEO, ″We are committed not only to a child's early education, but the college education that will help to prepare them as the leaders of tomorrow as well.″

The new Scholarship Program is the next logical step in COA's mission to provide a comprehensive offering of educational resources to parents. Although many states offer publicly funded scholarship programs, government budget cuts have left them strained for financial support.

″We know that parents only want the best for their children, and a college education is part of what every parent wants for their child's future,″ said Jim Perretty, Vice President and COO of Children of America. ″We are committed to playing a continued role in educating and supporting the next generation of leaders.″

The program is open only to new enrollees, and may be used for tuition for any college or university. For more information or to schedule a visit at Children of America simply visit the Scholarship Program page.
