Sites, Search, Social and Mobile Strategies Were Shared Among 350+ Digital Marketing Consultants at WSI's Global Convention
Toronto, Canada, October 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- WSI, the world's #1 Internet franchise, organized its annual Excellence and Innovation franchisee convention last week, which took place in Las Vegas, USA on September 19-21. More than 350 franchise offices from around the world, including US, Canada, UK, Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Middle East, convened at Planet Hollywood to share cutting edge digital marketing strategies to enhance their services in their local regions. The theme of ″sites, search, social and mobile″ resounded throughout the event as 14 recognized Internet marketing expert speakers led discussions around digital marketing innovations based on these topics.

This year, WSI had 3 keynote speakers join the event. Mark Randall, a serial entrepreneur from Adobe Systems, discussed new ways of thinking about the future of digital and shared his entrepreneurial expertise with attendees. Dan Zarrella, author of "The Social Media Marketing Book" and "The Facebook Marketing Book," shared ideas on how to leverage an interesting concept called "friend of a friend" marketing and provided scientifically proven methods for reaching new prospects with social media. Also, Andrew Brash, a motivational speaker, joined the awards dinner to share how to combine commitment and compassion to achieve what may seem to be "the impossible."
The 3-day event featured a line-up of compelling presentations and breakout sessions discussing topics related to: local search marketing, mobile websites, online credibility, social location mobile marketing, web analytics, video marketing and more. Attendees voted for their favorite presenters and coming in first place was Tim Miller, a WSI Consultant from Florida, USA, who discussed the topic of local search marketing. WSI's next franchisee convention is scheduled to take place in Paris in March 2012.
