School Of Rock Teams Up With Mike Peters Of The Alarm/Big Country And The Love Hope Strength Foundation

October 12, 2011 // Franchising.com // School of Rock will be announcing a three-day recording workshop in November at their music school locations nationwide. The workshop provides an interactive educational music experience with an emphasis on recording and vocals.

Each participating school will record their version of Mike Peters and The Alarm’s classic “Love Hope Strength” which will be available for worldwide download. All proceeds of the will benefit the Love Hope Strength foundation which is an international music-centric cancer charity co-founded in 2007 by leukemia survivors Mike Peters of the Welsh rock band The Alarm and President of CSI Entertainment James Chippendale. Peters also fronts the Scottish New Wave rock band Big Country.

Schools will upload their completed songs to the Love Hope Strength website for worldwide download. Tracks will be .99 and all proceeds will go directly to the LHS foundation.

The school that raises the most money will receive a very special visit reward from Mike Peters.
