Barberitos has partnered with Passionately Pink for the cure for the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Customers will be able to donate to Passionately Pink for the Cure through www.Barberitos.com. The money raised from the donations will help to further raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
In efforts to support this cause, Barberitos has rolled out their “Barberitos’ Gives Breast Cancer the Boot” campaign. On October 1, 2011 the Barberitos locations throughout the Southeast will serve pink chips every Tuesday during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Stores will be selling “Barberitos Gives Breast Cancer the Boot” t-shirts to raise additional funds.
“We think Breast Cancer Awareness is a great cause to support” said Founder and CEO, Downing Barber. “What a better way to spread awareness and raise money for help those in need.”
Committed to serving “farm fresh” food, Barberitos serves all natural vegetables delivered to stores and hand-cut daily. Each menu offering is prepared at the time it is ordered right in front of the customer. Barberitos “7 under 7” menu features seven items each under seven grams of fat and less than 400 calories and includes mini grilled chicken burrito, jerk fish taco, and a variety of salads.
