Donate $1 to Boys & Girls Clubs and Recieve $1 Coupon at CousinsSubs(R) in Onalaska

Community event celebrating store's one-year anniversary and benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse

{start] ONALASKA, Wis. - Cousins Subs® today announced that its store at 1220 Crossing Meadows Drive in Onalaska will hold a coupon campaign benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse to celebrate the store's one-year anniversary. Guests who donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Clubs between Oct. 17 and Nov. 12 will receive a coupon to save $1 off a 7½-inch sub or large salad on their next visit.

"We wanted to do something special for the community to celebrate our store's one-year anniversary, especially because community involvement is a big part of what Cousins Subs is all about," said Paul Schwarz, owner of the Onalaska Cousins Subs. "We are proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse and encourage everyone to help us in our efforts by donating $1 at the Onalaska Cousins before Nov. 12."

According to Mike Desmond, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse, the nonprofit serves more than 500 youth every day and provides them with positive activities outside of school that enhance social behavior and healthy choices.

The Onalaska Cousins Subs will be using the funds raised for the Adopt-A-Child program which helps support children and families who would not otherwise be able to afford a membership at the Boys & Girls Clubs. In addition to raising funds for tuition, Cousins will also be providing award certificates for the Boys & Girls Clubs events such as Power Hour (afterschool tutoring), Smart Girls, Wise Guys and sporting events including football.

About Cousins Subs

Cousins Subs, based in Menomonee Falls in suburban Milwaukee, is a restaurant specializing in East Coast-style submarine sandwiches made with the finest ingredients served on a variety of freshly baked breads, along with salads, soups, chips and soft drinks. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East Coast-style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients. For more information, visit www.cousinssubs.com.
