Ruskin Moscou Faltischek Hosts Seminar Outlining Benefits of IDA Transactions to Long Island Business Leaders

Uniondale, Long Island, New York, October 14, 2011 – Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today that it has hosted a successful and well-received seminar focused on Industrial Development Agency (IDA) transactions. Entitled Harnessing the Power of the IDA: Economic Incentives That Drive Growth and Profitability, the breakfast seminar was presented to an overflow audience on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the law firm’s offices atop RXR Plaza in Uniondale, New York.

The seminar was moderated by Ruskin Moscou Faltischek partner Eric C. Rubenstein, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Department. Panelists included Edward A. Ambrosino, Esq., Of Counsel to the Firm and Chair of the IDA & Municipal Development Incentives Practice Group; Jeffrey L. Seltzer, Chairman of the Board, Nassau Industrial Development Agency; and David W. Barr, Executive Vice President, Investment Banking, Gates Capital Corporation. The distinguished panelists gave the audience an insider’s perspective on the process of granting economic assistance, the financial considerations of an IDA deal and what elements comprise a successful application.

The interactive program included a lively discussion between the speakers and the audience. Attendees included prominent Long Island business leaders as well as officials of local municipalities.
