IN2IT Nutrition & Fitness Franchise Opens in Santa Clarita, CA
San Diego, California (September 30, 2011) // PRNewswire // IN2IT Nutrition & Fitness Franchising, Inc., announced today that it has granted an exclusive franchise for Santa Clarita, California, to Joe and Mony Day.
"We are exceeding our growth projections for 2011. Our efficient and supportive business model, coupled with the popularity of a retail nutrition store and gym facility combined into one business, is certainly accelerating our growth," said Dennis Rieder, president of IN2IT Franchising, Inc.
Joe’s professional career for the past 12 years has been as a sales manager with Wells Fargo. He has been a fitness coach and personal trainer since 1999. Mony, his wife and partner in the business, has been employed as a wealth management executive with Wells Fargo for the past 10 years.
Reached for comment, Joe offered his reasons for joining the IN2IT franchise program, “For years my wife and I searched for the right business opportunity. With the economy shifting in so many different ways, we thought it best to pursue a franchise. I have trained high school, college, and professional athletes since 1999, and, initially, I contacted IN2IT Nutrition & Fitness about the company sponsoring the athletes I train and coached. My wife’s dream was to own a restaurant, and my dream was always to own my own business in the fitness/training/athletics industry. One year after meeting Dennis Rieder, my wife and I both are living our dream. My wife gets to own and operate the juice bar, while I get to train and support the athletes with all their nutrition needs. We researched hundreds of franchise opportunities, and IN2IT offered the best value because of it’s affordable initial cost of entry to open the business, and it’s tremendous training and support. We have 24 hour ongoing support and were trained in every phase of the business. Where else can you fulfill two dreams in one business? In retrospect, we actually bought two businesses for the price of one!”
“Our success in selling franchises during these difficult economic times has exceeded the franchise industry growth rates since the beginning of the year. My experience is that there are always businesses that will do well in a recession. I have been in the franchise development business for 30 years and have witnessed this trend at least a half dozen times. The ranks of out-of-work people are filled with executives who never want to work for anyone again,” said Carl Kosnar, Managing Partner of The Kosnar Group, franchise development consultants for IN2IT Franchising, Inc.
About IN2IT Franchising, Inc.
The major difference between IN2IT Nutrition & Fitness and all other competition can be summed up rather succinctly. No other company-owned or franchise retail nutrition store chain includes a combined gym facility offering personal fitness training, weight training, and cardio boxing, kickboxing and MMA training. Conversely, some gyms do offer nutritional products and sports supplements. However, the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) stated in its 2009 Profiles in Success Report, “2/3’s of all fitness clubs offer nutritional products. The irony is that nutritional sales only amount to 3% of club gross revenue.” The reason most gyms fail at selling nutritional products is that the employees are not sufficiently trained in nutrition. The other reason is that the compensation incentives offered to gym employees usually concentrate on selling gym memberships and not nutritional products.
IN2IT provides training regimens and products which are proprietary to IN2IT, offering a turn-key franchise with the franchisee and staff receiving full training and ongoing support. The Company sources and trains membership salespeople in addition to recruiting professional trainers for its franchisees. IN2IT has trained world champion bodybuilders, however, the vast majority of our members are women and men who are just interested in weight training and enjoying the benefits of our nutrition and fitness training program.
Potential IN2IT franchisees are required to pay a $25,000 franchise fee which is included in the $122,550 to $195,950 range of capital needed to get started. Location options range from retail strip shopping centers and mall kiosks to leased departments in hotels and big-box gyms. Absolutely no previous health, nutrition, and fitness experience is necessary to qualify for an IN2IT franchise.
