Wiggin And Dana Appoints Patti Melick To Executive Committee

October 18, 2011 // Franchising.com // New Haven - Wiggin and Dana appointed Partner Patti Melick to the firm's Executive Committee for a four year term.

Ms. Melick, a partner in the firm's Stamford office and member of the Corporate Department, has been with Wiggin and Dana since 1995. Ms. Melick is also a member of the firm's Pro Bono, Charitable Contributions and Associate Professional Development Committees. Her practice is focused primarily on companies in the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, diagnostic and medical device companies. She has more than 20 years' experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and complex strategic alliances, licensing and global partnering transactions. Her clients include domestic and international public companies, emerging growth companies, entrepreneurs and scientists. Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Ms. Melick practiced law in the New York office of the Swedish law firm, Mannheimer Swartling.

Ms. Melick graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University, Phi Beta Kappa, and received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
