More than 590 Leading Franchise Executives and Business Coaches Assembled Together for the Industry’s Largest Private Franchise and Business Opportunity Expo; Conference Addressed the Impact of Franchising on Economic Recovery and Sustainable Job Growth

October 24, 2011 // Franchising.com // Southbury, Conn. – More than 590 of the nation’s top franchise industry executives and business coaches joined together October 3-6, 2011 at the 12th annual Franchise and Business Opportunity Expo to demonstrate the important role that franchised businesses play in economic recovery and sustainable job growth. Keynote speaker Steve Caldeira, President and CEO of the International Franchise Association (IFA), kicked off the conference, addressing the current economic climate and the impact of franchising, which includes more than 828,000 establishments and provides for nearly 18 million jobs, generating more than $2.1 trillion to the U.S. economy.
