J.D. Byrider included in list of 200 largest franchise systems

October 24, 2011 // Franchising.com // CARMEL, Ind. – J.D. Byrider, the nation's largest franchised used car sales and finance business, has been honored with recognition by Franchise Times in its listing of the "200 Largest Franchise Systems."

“We are honored to be included in Franchise Times’ list of the 200 largest franchise systems. It serves as reinforcement of our commitment to excellence in our business operations and development,” said Rob Palmer, J.D. Byrider COO.

J.D. Byrider opened 11 new stores in 2011 and currently has 135 locations in 30 states, the most stores operated to date. The company has aggressive plans to continue its growth throughout the United States over the next year.

“We’re excited about our growth, which was fueled in part by the investment made in the company by Altamont Capital Partners,” said J.D. Following the publication of J.D. Byrider’s selection for Franchise Time’s 200 Largest Franchise Systems list, American Registry, LLC, seconded the honor and added J.D.
