The Auditel Brand Promotes an Image, A Model and Values Which I Believe In

October 26, 2011 // Franchising.com // Established in 1994, Auditel is the UK’s favourite and largest cost and purchase management franchise opportunity with a network of over 200 highly-skilled specialists. Auditel manages a broad range of business expenditure which includes costs as diverse as communications, energy, water, office supplies, freight, contract cleaning, merchant cards and general waste. Their client base of over 3,4oo in the UK ranges from small businesses to global brands such as Pizza Express, YMCA and Oxford University.

Among the newest intake of franchisees were Adam Gillett and David Kendall who had decided to set up a partnership in the West Midlands. Adam is an experienced Internal Audit Manager and has a track record of ensuring relationships with suppliers are profitably and sustainably managed. He realised significant savings for former employers.

David qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with the world’s largest accounting firm and has since held several corporate positions within a global top 50 company. His extensive experience and analytical skills, combined with his passion for effective cost management and efficient business controls, has already resulted in substantial savings for their growing client base.

Asked why they had decided on Auditel, Adam says:” It was the best option for us from the relevant market and an appropriate handrail into the world of business ownership. Paul adds: “We saw Auditel as a professional opportunity to run our own business whilst utilising our core skill base and expertise. The brand promotes an image, a model and values which I believe in.”

The partners were enthusiastic about their training. Adam recalls: “A professional delivery with effective, engaging and practical exercises to use in the real world.” David adds: “Well-constructed both in terms of integrity, knowledge and in building confidence. Lively, fun and I’ve learnt loads in an enjoyable atmosphere, painlessly! It’s really fired me up.”

Edward Brewer, Auditel’s Franchise Development Director, reveals: “This was a fantastic group of people who conducted due diligence into the white-collar franchise marketplace before deciding to choose Auditel. We were delighted to train these new affiliates from a wide range of backgrounds – all of whom bring a wealth of experience and talents to our network.”

Following last year’s nomination in the bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award, Auditel was selected as finalists, together with only five other franchisors, to win the HSBC Franchisee Support Award for 2011. This award, which is managed by the British Franchise Association (bfa), is given to the franchisor who stands out as providing exceptional support to their franchisees, to give them the best possible environment for success.

Franchising is becoming an increasingly attractive option for those looking to run a business for the first time. The latest NatWest/bfa survey reveals that nine out of 10 franchisees remain profitable. As Brian Smart, Director General of the British Franchise Association said recently: “Yet again, franchising has demonstrated its inherent tenacity and stability, despite a tough climate last year.”

Laurence Knott confirms: “Applicants recognise the value of our cost and purchase management service in these challenging economic times. Our higher earners enjoy an income of over £200k. Now is the time for any management professional who is seeking a career change to approach us. Our Free Discovery Seminars give an indication of what may be achieved within our franchise which can provide financial, business and personal satisfaction.“
