RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon School Program to be Presented to Hester Junior High School in Franklin Park on Nov. 1

Chicago, IL, October 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon returns to Hester Junior High School, 2836 Gustav St. in Franklin Park, Ill., on Nov. 1, where for the second consecutive year the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.

In the audience will be 160 sixth-grade students, who will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved. They also will see a live demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon and crew will present more than 100 educational programs to schools across northern Illinois this year.

The program will be presented at 8:35 a.m. outdoors on the school grounds, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if required. The balloon envelope will be inflated with hot air to its full 75-foot height if the program is held outdoors. When the program is presented indoors, the envelope is partially inflated with cool air and students have the opportunity to walk inside it.
