Saladworks Signs Three-store Deal In Chicago Area

Schaumburg, First Of Three, Eyed For 2012 Opening

October 28, 2011 // Franchising.com // CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.– Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh salad franchise concept, is proud to announce a three-store agreement in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Franchisee David Wojcik of Spring Grove, IL is using his background in retail sales to start his own business.

“I love the concept of quick, healthy food choices,” Wojcik said. “Saladworks gives me an edge because there’s nothing like it around here.”

The Chicago area is key for Saladworks’ expansion; its location in O’Hare Airport is one of its most popular.

“We can’t wait to get started developing in the Chicago area,” said Chairman/CEO, John Scardapane. “Our customers have been asking us for locations outside of O’Hare and we think Dave Wojcik is just the person to help us expand Saladworks in Chicago.”

The first store, set to open in 2012, will be located in Schaumburg with the other two locations to be determined.
