Wiggin and Dana Partner Charles Kingsley New Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Long Wharf Theatre

October 28, 2011 // Franchising.com // New Haven - Wiggin and Dana Partner Charles Kingsley is the new Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven.

Mr. Kingsley has been a member of Long Wharf's Board for 20 years, recently serving as a member of the board's Executive Committee, but his involvement at Long Wharf began much earlier. Mr. Kingsley has been a subscriber since 1965, and, in fact, he attended a performance of the theatre's inaugural production of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible." Moreover, with former Partner C. Newton Schenck, one of the theatre's original incorporators in 1965, he helped prepare the legal documents that founded the Long Wharf Theatre.

As Chairman of the Board, Mr. Kingsley will focus on three goals: supporting artistic excellence, continuing to strive for surpluses and increasing the theatre's endowment.
