New Bojangles' Provides Sixth Location in Gastonia Area for Residents to Enjoy ″BO Time″
October 31, 2011 // Franchising.com // Gastonia, N.C. - Today Bojangles’ opened its sixth restaurant in the Gastonia area located at 3638 South New Hope Road. Customers who are already fans of Bojangles’ world-famous chicken, made-from-scratch biscuits and Legendary Iced Tea have eagerly anticipated the restaurant’s arrival, and those trying it for the first time will soon crave the unique flavor of Bojangles’ menu items.
Like all Bojangles’ restaurants, the location on South New Hope Road will serve everything made fresh all day, seven days a week. The restaurant will offer southern classics with Bojangles’ one-of-a kind flavor, including its World Famous chicken, buttermilk biscuits and biscuit sandwiches, delicious fixin’s and freshly-steeped iced tea. In addition to individual orders for every meal of the day, Bojangles’ also prepares family-sized meals.
The 8-piece Tailgate Special includes eight pieces of flavorful chicken, four biscuits, a half gallon of Bojangles’ Legendary Iced Tea and a choice of two large fixin’s, such as Cajun Pintos®, Dirty Rice®, mac n’ cheese, green beans and Seasoned Fries™. The Tailgate Special is ideal for tailgating at home or at the stadium before or after the game. Tailgate Specials are perfectly packaged in Bojangles’ new, easy-to-carry Big BO Box. Twelve-piece and 20-piece meal options are also available.
Along with serving exceptional food, Bojangles’ is also committed to serving the community by supporting causes like the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Since Bojangles’ began working with MDA 13 years ago, the company has supported breakthrough research and other needs by raising more than $1.9 million. Because of Bojangles’ dedication to this worthy cause, MDA named Bojangles’ its Sponsor of the Year for the Charlotte region for 2011.
Bojangles’ new company-owned restaurant in Gastonia also represents an economic investment in the area. The average investment made by the company for new locations is $1.7 million, and each new store creates an average of 25-35 new jobs. The new Bojangles’ will also affect the local economy through increased tax revenues and by using local companies for recurring needs such as landscaping and repairs.
“Bojangles’ is one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in the country, and we are committed to continuing our aggressive expansion,” said Bojangles’ President and CEO Randy Kibler. “Bojangles’ is proud to further invest in the Gastonia area, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with this great community.”
