Smashburger Sizzles Into Chesterfield, Mo., with Second Restaurant on November 16

“Better Burger” Restaurant Heats Up Clarkson Rd. in West St. Louis County

Chesterfield, Mo. (PRWEB) November 03, 2011 - Smashburger, the nation’s fastest-growing “better burger” restaurant, will open its second metropolitan St. Louis-area location on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 1670 Clarkson Road. Smashburger brings its signature smashed-to-order burgers, Häagen-Dazs® shakes, tempting sides and regional menu items crafted to please locals’ palates to Chesterfield. This is the second of 12 St. Louis Smashburgers slated to open over the next four years. The St. Louis area’s first Smashburger opened in July 2011 and is located at 1981 Zumbehl Road in St. Charles, Mo.

Each St. Louis Smashburger features a regional menu created with regional flavors and tastes in mind. The St. Louis menu includes:

• The St. Louis Smashburger, with provel cheese, garlic grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and sweet bell peppers on a pretzel bun
• The St. Louis Smashdog, a 100-percent Angus beef hot dog with provel cheese, yellow mustard, garlic grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and sweet bell peppers
• The St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake Shake made with Häagen-Dazs® ice cream.

At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash. It starts with 100-percent fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef that is smashed on a 400-degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, the juicy burger is served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, real cheeses, and the highest-quality condiments.

Smashburger is known for its delicious burgers, but customers can also enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches, grilled and split hot dogs, and fresh tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides including rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, fried pickles, Haystack Onions, and Veggie Frites (flash-fried and seasoned asparagus spears, carrot sticks and green beans). The restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including local beers, wine, and hand-spun Häagen-Dazs® shakes.

The St. Louis Smashburger locations are owned and operated by local franchisee STL Smash, LLC.
