Presents Come Early This Year for Santa Parade Attendees

VAUGHAN, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2011) - The holiday season is a special time of year for folks of all ages. Chili's is spreading the holiday cheer early this year by giving away 10,000 vouchers for free Pepper Pals meals for children aged 12 & under that attend this year's Santa Claus parade as part of SantaFest in Maple.

Chili's originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975 serving up south-western inspired food and drink selections. Today, Chili's is a favourite dining destination for millions of people around the world with more than 1,500 locations in 32 countries and two territories around the globe. "Chili's has a long history of being involved in the community and we thought this year would be a wonderful opportunity to give something special to all of the good boys and girls that attend this year's Santa Claus parade in Maple," said Heath Everett, franchise owner of Chili's Grill & Bar in Vaughan, Ontario.

This year marks the twelfth anniversary of the SantaFest events in Maple, Ontario. The Santa Claus parade takes place on Sunday, November 13th starting at 2 PM and runs along Major Mackenzie Drive in Maple. Mari Vosburg, Chair of the 2011 "SantaFest in Maple" festivities comments, "The mission of SantaFest is to promote community spirit, civic pride and foster partnerships between businesses and the community in the celebration of the Christmas Holiday season. The ChiliHead team will be part of the Santa Claus parade travelling along the parade route and distributing cards that children 12 & under can redeem for a free Pepper Pals meal at Chili's Grill & Bar in the Colossus Centre until February 29, 2012. The Chili's Pepper Pals menu offers a wide selection of delicious food and healthy choices for children to choose from.
